Case Study: A Photography Brand & Website Design Project for Catie Eovaldi Photography.
Client: Michigan Based Photographer, Catie Eovaldi.
Specializations: Wedding Photography.
Desired Brand Positioning: Authentic, Sentimental, Upscale, Feminine.
The Background:
As soon as Catie & I connected, it was a match made in design heaven! I was immediately drawn to Catie’s sentimental photography style, and I was beyond excited to bring her elegant vision to life.
Catie had worked with a brand and website designer in the past, but wasn’t very happy with her final product. She had a sound vision, but it wasn’t executed in a way that truly reflected who she was. With her experience in mind, we wanted to really understand Catie and her business fully before we designed a single thing. We took the time to ask questions, get inspiration, and really understand the heart of Catie Eovaldi Photography. By gaining that understanding, we were able to bring a project to life that felt authentic for this business. From the logo to the online experience, we wanted Catie’s audience to immediately see her expertise, creativity, and genuine personality.
The Brand:
Catie’s photography is all about authenticity, beauty, and quality. What makes her approach so special is her eye for the sentimental. She’s not just capturing images, she’s capturing memories – and she’s doing it with an elegant flare that is unique to her photo style!

Our goal was for her brand to feel just as authentic and elegant as she is.
To bring that to life, we chose pastel tones that highlight Catie’s feminine, elegant vibe. The typography was a balance of simplicity and timeless drama, with an accent script that feels straight out of a Victorian era love letter. Every element came together seamlessly!

The Website:
With Catie’s brand as a strong foundation, we designed a website that was exactly what she needed – upscale and highly functional. We used lots of beautiful animations to give the site a magical sense of movement. We also designed some extra pages outside of her main navigation – such as a Wedding Resources page and Instagram Links page (reclaiming all that site traffic that would otherwise being going to LinkTree).

What Catie Had To Say:
“I don’t have nearly enough good things to say about Chris and her team at Ivory & Green. They listened with intention when I talked about the heart of my business and truly treated it with care. My new branding really reflects not just my business, but me as a person and I love it. The design process was very smooth, and the communication was super clear. Highly recommend working with Ivory & Green!“
