In 2019, I stumbled into my passion for design. No matter how much time passes, I still can’t believe that what started out as just me and my laptop, has grown to a full service Creative House with a truly phenomenal team of the most talented people I know.
But wait, first:
Hey hey hey! I’m Chris, the Founder & Lead Designer at Ivory & Green Creative House!
It’s truly one of the biggest joys of my life to craft brands & websites for the other creative business owners. Better yet, I get to do it with some of my BEST FRIENDS!
Shae, our Marketing Director, is truly a force to be reckoned with when it comes to all things business & creativity. She did more for my business in 1 year than I could have done in 3 & we have the kind of friendship I can’t describe without crying, so I’ll just refrain.
William is our Client Relations Director and always one of the most peaceful, wise, and genuinely curious people in the room. He also happens to be my little brother, so he gets all of those great qualities from me, of course. (Kidding. Wil is one of the most inspiring people I know. I don’t know if I’ve ever met another person who looks up to their a younger brother the way I look up to Wil. This is in parentheses because it’s between me & you, I can’t have Wil knowing this & getting a big head).
& of course, I can’t forget Hutch & Connor! Our rag-tag, part-time boys who help out with all things creative! Hutch has more natural talent in his pinky finger than most people in the world, and it’s a joy to have his creative eye on the team. Connor is our Editor and not a single project launches without his eye on it! He also happens to be my partner & best friend on the planet.
When I am not working…
You can always find me with my incredible family: Connor (partner), August (daughter & sunshine), Indy (our miniature dachshund who definitely thinks he’s a human), and Uno (our “found-in-the-woods-but-now-sleeps-on-my-pillow” cat). I married Con in 2017, and he is absolutely my best friend in the entire world. We’re two pees in a pod, and I couldn’t ask for a better partner. Ivory & Green would not exist without his constant support.
We’re proud dorks who love playing video games, spinning records, and staying in. I’m a very happy introvert who prioritizing new books over nights out. I read voraciously, I enjoy tasting new wines from my local wine shop, and my heart is at it’s fullest whenever I’m with Connor, watching our daughter explore the world.
